Contacts saved in iPhone

I am using an iPhone7 now. My contacts are saved in the phone only? They are not in the SIM card? So what if I change to a Samsung phone using back the same SIM card? Need to key in all the contacts? Advice please. Thanks.

You may probably try to sync your contacts to your gmail account.

You in which era? SIM card storage is so limited, can only save numbers. Nowadays we save addresses, mobile phone, office phone, home phone, IC numbers etc. SIM card cannot hold that much info.

modern phones all save contacts on device storage. if u want to go back to Android u have to download yr contacts to Google contacts.
