corsair ax750 failure?

Hi guys,

as seen in the video, is this psu failure?

I switched from a 560ti to a 970 a week ago, ran flawlessly, then today suddenly overnight this happens.

My rig is 3 years old, ran flawlessly till today suddenly this happen without any warning.

Switched back to my old 560ti and the same problem persist. Problem also there when no gpu inserted.

PSU: 3 year old corsair AX750
Asus p8p67 deluxe, 2500k @ 4ghz, 2x4gb corsair 1600 ram, 1 x crucial m4, 1 x WD black, corsair H80 cooler, quite a few fans

As u can see my system had hardly stressed the psu over the past 3 years.

1) Reseat all wire connections in your system.

2) Got spare PSU to test?

Does this mobo has a debugging code? Cos from the video, I can see that there's power going to ur gpu and mobo.

Hence, it might not be the psu but more likely mobo problem.

The first time i tried to switch it on this morning, the com actually repeated what you saw for more than 2 times. In fact it kept on repeating for close to a minute before i had to switch off the power to stop it.

Also, on 23 dec, while i was playing a game, the power to my house tripped caused of some works. First time in 3 years power trip. But after that com booted up no problem.. till now.

What do you mean by debugging code? The computer doesnt even post, no beeping sounds at all.

Don't have a spare psu to test leah.. Wanted to head down to convergent today but they are closed till next monday zzzzzz...... I bought my new gtx970 from pc themes, you think they will kindly help me test my psu for free?

Sorry by debug code do you mean the 2 digit number that displays on the mobo? I checked, no number appears at all.
