Corsair PSU Question

Is the AX860i still reliable? Read of many bad experiences with this PSU online and it's getting rather old. Not sure whether to go HX1000i or AX860i (CWT Vs Flextronics) or should I wait for 80+ Titanium on the AXi

You should consider SuperFlower.

I had the same dilemma and went ahead with the hx1000i in the end. Read that there are many issues due to dsp for ax860i.

I believe it's a seasonic oem. And seasonic quality is crap nowadays.

Did consider but don't really like the "Design"

Read a lot too, however CWT standards also dropping and they're the OEMs for the HXi series iirc. But will consider!

I think the AXi is by Flextronics, the non 'i' series is by Seasonic

Thinking of getting a new build and choosing a good PSU... any to recommend?

i7 6770k , currently using 1070 gfx card and intend to upgrade to 1080ti so won't SLI.

Cheap and good, and OEM to some bigger brands.
