Cosmos or Caesars

hi all,
just like to check which hotel would be your choice for staying near TMS for party of 15 pax (include 1 elderly). Initially was looking at Cosmos Hotel as I had stayed there before (long time ago) but saw that Caesar Park Taipei had direct exit from hotel to TMS mall. That kinda of swing my mind towards Caesar Park but there was some bad reviews about Caesar from tripadvisor.
or is there any hotel which you had stayed before near TMS? Although will be travelling on coach to tourist spots, I am thinking of some F&E time on my own.

Stay in Caesar Park taipei before with my parent and sibling (total 5 person). It can link directly to the TMS, but provided that the elder are able to walk up and down of staircases (ard 10 - 15 steps) (not wheelchair friendly). Location wise both are almost the same just that they have different exit.

Caesar Park hotel look old from outside, but inside is quite new. try to get upgrade to suite room or those newly renovated room. Customer service wise is still okies. My parents need handicap room and they are able to get one for us. Also, they rest of us got upgrade to suite room, it newly renovated during that time (thk 3 yr back).

Thanks, the elder should have no problems walking down 10-15 steps but I suspect it'll be the younger ones going to TMS mall.
did you ask for the upgrade to suite room/newly renovated room or customer service officer offer to do so? I guess should be able to request for newly renovated rooms when I am going to book for the rooms. maybe I can request for the handicap room for the elder, should be more user-friendly for her.
do you still have your itinerary from your trip? is it a tour trip or self-organized trip?
