Year 1 HSS Freshie here, being extremely confused about Sem 2 course registration even though I researched about it, do enlighten me thanks.

1. Where do I check the courses that are compulsory?
- Received a email saying that I have to register H*2005 (Core) and GC0001 (GERCORE). But I saw my course mate in some chat said that that we suppose to register for HW0304 (GERCORE) as well, so it's a total of 3 compulsory mods with 1 Core and 2 GERCORE. But I did not see HW0304 in my email, is there any website which I can check to double confirm? Or is it that we have to take 2 GERCORE?

2. For GERPE, is there a list of courses from that 3 category which I can select from, or is it I have to go to the individual school's website to check what courses they are offering as GerPe? I saw some courses listed as GerPe on various school's website but they did not state proper which of the 3 category they belong to. So can i assume that an Economics GerPe belongs to the category of Business?

3. Should I try to clear my CORE and MPES AU first? Or should I take some core and some GERPE/UE/GER CORE together?

4. Say if there's a MPE that I'm interested in, but not confident it taking it up now, can I take it only in year 2 or year 3? Am I allowed to do that?

5. Received email from school saying:
"From Semester 2, AY16-17 onwards, the following HSS modules will be contributed to a common pool of Major-PEs that all HSS students can register for, regardless of their offering Programme."
So does it mean that if I'm a sociology student, I can take Psychology intro as my MPE?

I'm very confused :s22: :s11: Thanks in advance :s13:
