Courses per semester

Hi all
Was wondering how many courses I should take this year.... Is it better to take more courses earlier so for the last semester of uni got only two/three courses. Cos last semester is when we'll be busy job hunting etc etc... Or does it not make a difference???

Usually, if you have ability to take more module I would suggest you take more. As at final we have FYP to do. If last sem you got less AU, that means you got more time to focus on your FYP. Furthermore, like you said, there is a intense job hunting from job market. There will some job interview during sem. So if you got less AU , the time is looser and easier to arrange the interview date.

Maybe you can take one sem to adjust yourself. If result is too bad, I advise you to take the module according to your ability.

Actually, if you follow the recommended schedule(check school website), you should be quite safe. The school understands students' situation and allocates lesser AUs towards the last few sems. It also depends on whether you wanna go on exchange or not. If you are going, it might be better to save your core mods for exchange.
Lastly, taking too many mods during freshmen year may be a risk since you are still testing the water and adjusting to school life. You do not know how many AUs is a comfortable number for you. All the best.
