For my last 3 trips, I didn't purchase the add on.

I've done 4 trips since Covid. Can't remember if the insurance for the 1st trip already covered Covid as it was before the measures were lifted.

I've never kena covid.

Nowadays most travel insurance wii auto include covid coverage. Only few companies still require people to opt in. Actually alot of people kana covid from their oversea trip including me. But most travel insurance does not cover covid once you return to Singapore.

Can be before your trip also. Some companies cover up to 14days after returning

The before part is something I don’t quite understand yet. Supposed before your trip, you kenna covid, and you cancel your trip, can you claim back all costs incurred already like hotel bookings, air tickets, etc?

I will add on to have a safe mind.

Not everyone tio covid will be mild.
Especially if you got it oversea. The bill and others.
Add on Covid insurance not that expensive

Buying travel insurance is for "just in case"... covid is 1 of the "just in case". Why will u need to think whether to buy or not? Save a few dollars and hoping u are not the unlucky 1???

I kiasi will always buy.

My son's girlfriend. Got first covid in Spore last year. This year travelled to UK and got it second time. High fever and NHS (public system) didn't take her in coz over crowded. Then went to private hospital and admitted for a day (yet to know the bill as she is still there).
