Last time ppl eat simple and less processed food. Nowadays it's easy to overconsume and more additives including hormones in meat. Also more stress, pollution etc.
There's much to say, but I'll pick one item on your list: pollution. Do you really believe there's more pollution today than there was, say, 50 years ago?

In Singapore 50 years ago there was no MRT, and you inhaled (often leaded) exhaust fumes emitted by much dirtier vehicles. There was much more industrial pollution, too. Do you have something else in mind?

The main difference is today Sporeans good life and generally lead sedentary lifestyle.

Talk about last last time, cycle to work or walk like 1-2km to take bus

If u are doing manual labour work, you eat lots of carbs also OK. But now after lunch/dinner what u do mostly? Sit down in the office and nua at hm watch netflix :s13:

are they obese? Or eat healthy and keep fit like Limster?

60s is quite young o_O
They are not obese. My cousin was in the police force and he died after having the usual walk in the park. My siblings went out every single day and appears fit. One died at home till not recognisable and the other died in hospital a day after fainting in a public toilet.

....And yet Singaporeans are living longer and healthier lives, on average, than they were in the past. That's just a statistical fact.

The big strides were made up until about 15 years ago (~2010). Progress since then has been slower or even flat. (COVID didn't help.) But you'd much rather be a typical age 65 senior today than, say, in 1960 or 1970. You are (or were) living nearly 13 years longer.

Not everything about the past was better. Most aspects of life were objectively worse.

There is such thing as "skinny fat" or "visceral fat" which is dangerous. You may not look fat but you are unhealthy.

The thing is , what is you are not telling about them.
What are the causes of death will give you a clue.
