Got link to that tuition teacher story?

I would advise you to buy income replacement plan in case you cannot work for whatever reason. I think Great Eastern has one that pays out for life. Important for you as a breadwinner as you seem to take great risks with your investments and leave little liquidity in case of emergencies.

Salary.sg has a sad story of a previous high flyer tuition teacher earning $15k a month, met with unfortunate accident and now only earning S$1 to 2 k a month..... So please get enough insurance for yourself...hope you dun mind my advice....

I thought my sense of crisis is already quite strong, but yours seems stronger than mine. :)

No, what I mean is a Partial disability income plan. I got one for manuLife that covers $$350k over 5 years. Should have gotten from GE, I think they cover 75% of income for life in case you lose your ability to work. Gotta check with GE agents.

Din expect kindergarten teacher can earn so much? Is it revenue or net profit?

No, read the thread first, he is trying a second career as a kindergarten teacher after his car accident. Was a tuition teacher before the RTA.

Sorry, he was earning S$7500 pre RTA to S$1700 post rTA.

All right, will do so when I have time.
My job requires me to travel quite a lot as well, but I refuse to buy car, until now still travel on public transport. Need to reserve cash to repay my housing loan.
