Easy:

1. The OA portion still flows into OA.
2. The SA portion still flows into SA.
3. The MA portion can't go into MA (BHS reached), and then cannot go into SA (FRS reached), so it ends up in OA.

Thank you for clarifying!

OA stands for "Overflow" Account. ;)

May i also add that VC allocation into the various account is also dependent on your age group.

Every CPF member will have OA, SA and MA (and RA for those above 55).

By default, all VC and MA will still flow into OA, SA and MA regardless of age.

What if ERS is reached?

Allocation to me means what percentage of VC goes into the 3 accounts, that's why i say is age dependent.

Overflow mechanism is there to handle if one breaches the max limit of BHS or SA.

reach FRS overflow already cannot go to SA and had to go to OA.
don't care whether u are somewhere betn FRS and ERS or at ERS.

So, which one of you is correct?

Referring to point 2 of BBCWatcher's reply.

i see, so your question on "what if ERS is reached" is in the context of point 2.

my answer is in the context of point 3 where "FRS reached" is mentioned, hence my earlier reply.

So, any SA contribution will continue to flow into SA regardless of whether FRS/ERS is reached, isn't it?
