I7 with h97 motherboard vs i5 with z97 motherboard
I'm looking at i5 4690k with Asus sabertooth z97 mark 2 or Intel i7 4790 with Asus h97 pro gamer

Million dollar question: Do you really need and know how to take advantage of hyperthreading? Or simply follows the 'the more expensive the better and faster' mentality?
