cpu unable to boot

Hello all, I have this recurring problem from time to time. Yesterday it was doing fine, and I cant switch it on this morning. It can power on but only cpu/gfx/and one of the casing fan will run, other 2 casing fans wont power on, PC is unable to boot even into bios, no display, stucked in an infinite loop of darkness. i have reset cmos battery, tried to reseat most modules and checked connections and even tried rubbing the contact points of graphic card/ram with a eraser, to no avail.

specs:
i5 760/ msi p55a g55 mobo.
palit gtx 650 ti boost 2 gb
4 gb ram
520w seasonic

Use your nose smell first. I used mine and save me the trip down to sls. Melted power connector to dvd drive causing shorts.
