CPU with about 1k budget.

Thinking of getting a new CPU with a budget of about 1k without monitor. Any recommendations on what kind of parts i should choose?

I am currently playing Diablo 3 and Borderlands 2.

U need wifi?
Space constraints?

I use a wifi adaptor. Cant remember whats the size of the monitor as i bought it 5 years ago.
