Doesnt matter which CC. Read up on the bank charges which the cards you have on hand charges for overseas transaction. Cash is the best unless the benefits of using it outweights the lower exchange rates..

There is a good prepaid Mastercard Youtrip coming on the way, but I heard CC is not so accepted as in Singapore?

The only time I use cc was for a 600plus sing purchase at the premium outlet..wanted to save some cash..

Japan prefer to use cash whereas Korea prefer to use cards. Singapore want enter cashless but equipment CMI, not as extensive as Korea.
