Now using made in China android phones. Feel like crossing over to iPhone. Not sure if will regret or missing out anything. Anyone recently within the past two years had this dilemma?

Get iPhone 17 and use it for 4-5 years. If you have 30 years to live, that’s a mere 6 iPhones.

iphone still premium priced ... not sure how the recent ai bubble will affect prices for newer android models

If dun mind learning up a new OS or at least how things are done slightly differently should be fine.

End of the day switch to know.

* Work phone is iphone but I only use for Whatsapp and calls.

start by doing homework

can brainstorm by asking ai, e.g. chatgpt, then narrow down by checking if specific features that u use regularly are available in ios

e.g.
iphone usb tethering requires installation of itunes on windows; for android, just plug cable and select usb tethering
No web messages option for iphone sms; android has https://messages.google.com/web/
for whatsapp, ios backup uses icloud space, only 5gb free; for android, google drive has 15gb free

can also consider getting an older iphone to try out first, before paying crazy prices for current iphone

e.g. iphone 13 was $495 during 11.11 last year

Get a refurbished set from CompAsia to play. 14 Pro Max 1TB is a good option, has decent resale value if you dislike it.

must ask whats your reasons for wanting to switch?....itchy backside? or genuine concern (eg security issue, performance etc) . i switch to iphone from android, really need to get use to the new interface, but i dont really play with the phone so just relearn the new functions i need and thats it. :p

Nope. I have zero temptation to go back iphone lol. Even the navigation is worse than android. Now android UI I have to say is equally as smooth now.
