Read the tnc, once registered is guaranteed. Unlike GXS! (see note below)

2b iv : Incremental Fresh Funds used to qualify for this Promotion must not be concurrently used to qualify for any other DBS/POSB deposit promotion. If DBS/POSB reasonably determines that any portion of the Incremental Fresh Funds has also been used to participate in or qualify for another DBS/POSB deposit promotion, DBS/POSB reserves the right to exclude that portion from the calculation of the Incremental MADB eligible for Bonus Interest under this Promotion, and where applicable, to forfeit the corresponding Bonus Interest due to you under this Promotion, without prior notice to you.


Just need to estimate your worst-case scenario if you decide to try.

Ppl can register and then later decide not to play. So one spot will be wasted correct? How does posb intend to solve this issue where not the entire 5000 finally decide to put monies?

thats their trick , a lot of ppl will end up maybe not qualifying but still left their $ for months for nothing.
