Hi guys, need some advice on building a new rig cos i think my ol one is gonna go some time soon.

M trying to keep the budget below 1.7k, inclusive of all stuff e.g. monitor, mobo, gpu, ram, psu, OS, etc.. except keyboard n mouse.

Gonna use it for some gaming like Diablo3, hopefully it can handle BF4 n i wanna add a 2nd monitor in the future.

M a noob at hardware but i do prefer using nvidia altho alot of laojiao prefer AMD R9 280x for more value?

anyways, heres the selected parts

MSI b85m-g43 i5 4570 $384
MSI gtx 760 +seasonic m12II 650 $513
gskill value 1600mhz 2x4gb $104
samsung evo 840 120gb ssd $149
wd 3.5" 1tb blue $85
fractal design define mini $122
MS windows 8 $149
dell 23" 2340 $235
liteon internal dvd $24

total $1765

personally i do prefer the asus vanguard b85 n wanna pair it with asus gtx760, slightly more ex but ive been using asus for like 7-8yrs wif no problems.

also was wondering if any better choices for monitor like dell 2312hm or AOC more value?

any comments and advice appreciated, thanks!

btw, prices n parts i got from mynextcom, any folks that dealt wif them gt further discount via online or phone?
from what i've read the service is good n reliable.

yea, was looking at 2312hm as well, but kinda confused cos some places offer 3yrs n some 5yrs for the guarantee.

no real preference to matt of gloss, was actually looking at the AOC i2757FH @ $395, lotsa good feedback in the forums on it as well.

any seniors cn help with the guarantee issue?

You gonna do RAID with H87? If not, drop to B85...

And for 7970, it is expensive as compared to r9 280/280x. And since both are the same, best is to get the r9 280x.

Thanks for the advice!
Btw, can this setup support 2xmonitors or a gtx760 is enough?
