Decisions Decisions...Upgrading advice needed

I am upgrading my IvyBridge to the new KabyLake. I will house the new stuff in my old Fractal Define Mini.

Looking at how it is, I don't do much Gaming except for some Overwatch and some other older FPS. The 3 main components I am gonna change are the CPU, Motherboard and RAM. Would be good if some good advice could be given for the selection of the following shortlisted components:
1. Motherboard:
MSI B250M Bazooka
Asrock B250M Fatal1ty
Asus Prime B250M-A
Asus Prime B250M Plus
Or should I just get a more generic board like the Asrock B250M-HDV since they are all B250 based?
These 4 boards are being shortlisted as they are in the same price bracket.

2. CPU:
i5-7400
i5-7500
i5-7600
As I do not intend to OC, I guess these 3 i5s would be good enough. however does the performance differ exponentially between them?

3. RAM wise i think as long as its running 2400mhz it should be fine?

I intend to use the integrated graphics or re-use my GTX660ti (not sure if its still working). However may consider the GTX1050ti or GTX1060 if push comes to shove.I do not need a graphics card that goes beyond 1080p 60Hz as thats the max my Dell 2320L can go.

Asus H110M-A M.2 (basic and practical)
i5-7500 (notable performance increment compared to 7400. 7600 not much notable regarding the gain as compared to 7400 to 7500)
Kingston Valueram 2133mhz 8gb or 16gb up to you (H110 run 2133mhz max while b250 run 2400mhz. Just matching their speed.)

Cheapest, most bang for the buck, standard build.

Hmmm....Good point about the 7400-7500-7600
I found a 7600 deal that cost only $11 more than the 7500 and the 7500 cost only $8 more than the 7400.....so I think i'll get the 7600 ba...its cheaper than SLS prices.

With regards to the boards....I am now thinking of either the Asus Prime B250-Plus or the Asrock Fatal1ty B250M Performance (asrock is $4 more than the asus). I rather get a 2400 mhz capable board as its newer and since it fits my budget.
I've been trying to get comparison reviews on the 2 boards online but to no avail.
My last setup was on the Asrock Z77m it lasted till about 4yr+ then the ports started to die till the MB died totally ...the last time i used an Asus was the P55-Pro....that one only lasted slightly less than 2 yrs.

TS can actually consider this based on what you're looking for.

An i7 (cache and core/thread count) running at i5-7500 frequency.

The board uses the same baseline PCB as H110 except that it has more IO installed and support for more RAID levels.

From i5 to another i5. I suggest you keep your current setup and just get a GTX1060.

TS why don't get Ryzen if you're changing motherboard and CPU? If only Mobo spoil, might as well just change mobo for now to a cheap one then save money for future upgrade to GPU & CPU

I'm using Asrock B250M Pro 4, also in the price range of those mobos you mentioned and is pretty decent imo. Never tried those you mentioned so can't help u there.

Okay... Here's what I had bought.....

Asus Prime b250m plus($175)..... I found out that the Asus was priced higher than the asrock flagship fatal1ty b250m everywhere.... But managed to get the Asus at a lower price than the Asrock.

I5-7600($299).... At only $11 more than the 7500....might as well

GEIL Dragon Ram DDR4-2400($178)....tye cheapest DDR4 2400 I can find.... However may not be the best.... It reads max speed at 2133 on the Asus board... Dunno why....

I got all the items from lazada, order today, arrive tomorrow .

I think I've got a good deal. Will be sourcing out for a graphics card soon, found Amazon having some really good prices.

Did you enable XMP on your ram to get 2400mhz

Yeah...XMP is switched on in UEFI right? The UEFI reads 2400. but its the Asus app in windows that recognises the brand and model but states its running at 2133.
