it raises a number of red flags and question marks.. It seems it is designed more to bypass geo-restrictions rather than provide security. There is not much information on how security is embedded and how it protects the user's network (when it is doing the opposite by allowing others to use the internet connection).

Hmmm....aside from that, Deeper Connect Mini is in essence both server and a client that sharing bandwidth. And those server nodes configured as an exit node(IP expose to internet) will face all the implication from any legal or copyrights strike:

Interesting. Why do you think it is the GFW block you if you are accessing contents inside China? As far as I know, it is more like the content providers if you are accessing geo-block contents inside China. For that purpose you need a going into China VPN like Transocks/SpeedIn/SpeedCN/AJS/Malus/etc.

Peer to peer same as torrent?
