Just came home from work, and tried to start up my desktop.

After pressing the power button, can hear the fans starting up, but unable to reach the Windows log-in screen. Keyboard has no response, and monitor goes into sleep. The desktop is "powered on" and the "activity" LED flashes occasionally...like once every second

Have tried restarting, and seems that it doesn't flash the BIOS screen as well...

Anyone can advise on what may be the possible cause??

OS: Windows 8
Motherboard: MSI Z77A-GD65
Primary harddisk: Crucial M4 (040H firmware)

Try reseating your RAM modules. If problem persist, reseat your video card. Power must be OFF when doing reseating.
