Ryzen Master is the most accurate

I've that but what do you see in there that tells you what's going on?

Bought cooler master 212

What's normal temperature and what's abnormal?

Bought 3 more fans for this.

Thinking of doing 3 in flow and 2 out flow thus creating positive air flow

Seems like Ryzen Zen 2 runs very hot.

I have a ryzen 3600 with Noctua U-12S in a Fractal Design Focus G Mini. Idle temps around 50, ranges from 48-55. Once in a while will spike to 60 for 1 sec or less.

Under load/stress test will go up to 70ish.

From what I see, even though I dont OC most of the cores will run at 4ghz at idle.

95c is when Ryzen chip starts to thermal throttle so any temperature under 95c in a load should be fine, I would probably expect around 70-80c for a hyper 212 under heavy load.

Given this cooler, possible to oc to 4.2 and play csgo at 4k60?
Hyper 212 should be able to handle 4.2ghz all core decently. Although Ryzen 3000 chips do not have much overclocking headroom and the performance gain is minimal and since you are playing at a higher resolution of 4K, you will be more GPU bound and CPU starts to matter less as compared to 1080P.

From this review, games at 1080P only saw an increase of 4.5 FPS MAX when their Ryzen 3600 was overclocked to 4.3 Ghz all core at 1.43v

So actually pretty useless to overclock if all you do is just multi task with chrome on multi display....

That's not "very hot". Especially when compared to Intel.

You should also make sure to install the Chipset Drivers, then set your Windows Power Plan to "Ryzen Balanced".

Yup had done both while researching how to best configure Ryzen 3000 series.

My 1600 could reach less than 30C with air conditioning :s13:

Forgot what temps are like for Intel. Adopted Ryzen 1600 in Jan 2018 due to being a cheapskate. "More cores?! For cheaper than Intel?!" :s22:

Back to topic, feeling hot air is nothing. Especially in SG. :s13: Recommend the hyper 212 as its probably the cheapest and most reviewed cooler out there.

i went to remove the overclocking settings through ryzen master.

But when i play CS GO on Full HD, i'm still experiencing 85-90Deg.

Is there anything wrong with my PC?

Did you install Msi Dragon Centre?
Check under control panel > power settings. Did it auto switch to Ultimate Performance? Try select Amd Ryzen Balanced.

What’s wrong with MSI Dragon Centre? Does it cause rising temp?
