Dear All,

Do you know any reputable person or shop that provides the above service?

For my guide, what's the cost and the servicing time?

Thanks.

I prefer the blade. Vice method can work also, but equal risk.

Die can be easily cracked if impact of the hammer and waste wood block is too hard.

I mean, personal preference, but I go with the blade instead as I have more "control" over the vice and hammer method.

The glue is not so strong. Actually I more scared of kena the pcb trace when using razor.

Then again I have not delided many cpus to say so. I only do on my old 4770k and 4790k.

2 out of 2 so 100% success rate. Hahahahaha

Wont lar you just slide the blade in parallel to the circuit board.

Btw, the trick is to use a thin blade (not those fat thick ones). Then it can slide in easily. I delid my 4790K in 5min using the think blade (those for the paper cutter one).

Avoid razor blade because you can cut yourself. HAswell is harder to delid due to the caps. You can slice off the caps if you are not careful.

Hopefully, skylake do not have such caps.
