Some carton is 24 cans. Some 30. Maybe they will increase carton size to 100. And then suddenly it cost $10 extra.

Most people will just skip buying those unhealthy beverages.

If I have any beverages for free, I will just put the empty beverages into my recycling chute. I don't have any recycling machine nearby.

Which is expected cos drinks companies printed the cans in bulk. Cannot be cos of supporting some govt initiatives then they throw away all the printed cans.

Fact of the matter is, they have zero intention of promoting recycling. Most people will not bother with such a laborious and drawn-out process for 10 cents.

Which is the whole point, to charge you an extra 10 cents, and boost revenue for corporations. It’s just an excuse to overcharge consumers. In that sense, they have achieved what they set out to do with deception.

Just another form of tax, in local galaxy of taxes.

I went to Suntec and got a drink from a vending machine outside Donki. Finished my drink and had to queue up for 5 mins to use the stupid recycling machine to get 10 cents back. Maybe the garment is capitalizing on the fact that sinkies like to queue.

To me, its just another stupid redundant time wasting initiative by the monitor lizards.

really makes life difficult for everybody, the amount of time wasted to and fro to collect back the 10cents
