Disk Partitions in Hard Drive

Hi All, i'm preparing my laptop for cloning as i'm upgrading from HDD and SSD.

However, I realise that HP actually made several partitions, WinPE (G:) and Images (H:).

Are these partition important? Can I remove them?

sadly u cant remove them i believe. not sure of winpe means but roughly i guess that it might be a backup windows OS and h drive is image drive where they clone the original OS and make it into like a backup OS in case there is any missing windows files.

anyway i think u can still manually choose what to be clone from hdd to sdd depends on which ssd software that comes with it allows u to do so.

So I'm guessing that it won't affect my OS if I don't clone over these two partitions right? Since they are just windows backups.

U need to clone everything. That's what cloning is all about it u are migrating to another drive with all your software intact.
The WINPE partition is mostly likely a recovery partition setup by HP in case your windows crash.
Clone all.

If you know how to reinstall and install the drivers for your PC.
You can choose to wipe the recovery partition.
However if the recovery partition can be deleted during Windows
installation.
You may need a partition management tool to do it cuz some
manufacturer the recovery partition is lock or protected
from user wiping them.
