I recently took a work trip to Tokyo and had a free weekend, so I decided to book a diving trip to Mikomoto Island to see the hammerhead sharks.
Mikomoto is an island located off the southeastern coast of Japan. Because it is exposed to strong East Pacific currents, the conditions can be quite intense, but it is famous for attracting massive schools of hammerhead sharks during the summer. Hence to dive there you need at least 50 dives, and dives within a year from the time you wanted to dive with them.
Unfortunately, its the beginning of the season, i did not spot the sharks, and some other groups had spotted some.
heres a humble video of my journey.
I left at Saturday morning from Tokyo via their train and came back on monday afternoon.
Pls feel free to ask me anything!
