Does anyone here have a good idea on the disbursement process for HDB proceeds in the event of a divorce?

Let's say that the husband had bought a resale flat before he is married and paid for it using a mix of loan, cash and cpf but the money paid back to the bank for the bank loan is done using cash.

On order to minimise his losses, would it make sense for the husband to pay back the bank loan using CPF instead?

1. hdb do not allow any matrimonial hdb flat (married couple ) to be sold when halfway through divorce proceedings.

2. the hdb flat can only be sold when divorce proceeding is fully over .

3. on the divorce proceedings , both party will have to agree on the clauses on how the hdb is to be spilt (if sold ), or buy over by 1 party if two owners .

4. pls get your spouse to agree on the spilt if u decided to sell the flat.

5. or as a sole owner , you don't have to put anything on the divorce cert (if she agrees to it ) , and just proceed with the divorce and u still retain the house .

all depends on both your agreement on the divorce cert. nobody can advise u on how it is , as all depends on how you two work it out .
