Hi hardwarezone veterans, looking to build a new gaming rig for 2015 & beyond. I did some noob research and zone down to these parts to purchase Need some advice on this build, thank you very much!

CPU: i7 4790
Mainboard: MSI Z97 Gaming 5 MOBO
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 1866MHz CL9 16gb kit
Storage: 250gb Samsung EVO SSD + WD Blue 1 TB
Graphics: MSI GTX970 4GB Gaming GDDR5
PSU: Corsair RM Series 650W Modular Gold
Casing: CM HAF 912 (Advanced) -> preferably with window cos nicer:s13:
Cooler: Any good cpu liquid cooler to intro? no idea here Nepton 140XL or cosair H80i

Aim of this rig: Full 1080p, ultra or very high settings at ease 60fps over on games like BF4, Unity COD, DA: Inquisition. Overlocking is optional, Worth to get unlocked process and squeeze in this said rig? Futureproof gaming to sum it up, freedom to go SLI would be nice. Lacking sound advice in PSU, casing and cooler aspect..

Any advice is greatly appreciated. thank you hwz bros

For CPU, i5 4690k is plenty enough.
8GB for ram is enough too

For SSD and ram, I suggest you roam around amazon now see if got any good deals left

Pretty much any AIO is good. I quite like the H80 personally, but the CM offerings seem pretty good. Why not consider a 240 or 280 AIO cooler instead?

The 970 will easily get you well over 60fps at 1080p.

Pretty solid build in general nothing fancy

If you want freedom to SLI, I suggest you get a 850w PSU now. When you decide to make the jump, just pop in another 970 and you got yourself a GPU performance better than a single 980, ready to take on 1440p.

Overclocking is really for enthusiasts, but it's fun if you are into that!

Case is really personal preference, but I'll say go for Define R4/R5 windowed version.

PSU is a fine choice, but I think there can be better ones. I'll leave royfrosty bro for the PSU

Yes I got a sweet deal at amazon last week, 250gb EVO samsung, free shipping + a free far cry 4 download.

There are so many motherboards brands out there, ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI.. what are the general consensus of these brands? ASUS feels expensive to me, feels like i am paying more for the blingz.

How does overclocking power translate to real world benefit? Would it be noticeable? If so I am open to it as well. I do occasional graphic work on PS, AI, ID softwares, an i7 core would be nice. Yes ryuxdragonx, might wanna SLI another 970 in the future!
