Haha, I recently bought some bootleg "odin" speaker cables from lazada. But it didn't sound good, so I decide to convert it into interconnects instead. Despite being bootleg stuff, I have to say the construction is surprisingly good. ITs also quite expensive being a bootleg ($199).

From the image below. Its quite well constructed. The wire is 10mm in diameter. Those core wires are silver plated copper, with silver plated shielding foil. Those curly blue stuff (looks like something else? lol), I believe are mean to keep the insulation from touching the core wire. Its really a pain to strip these cables.

Ok, gotten them connected to neutrik connectors. I bought them from mouser so they are real ones...lol... you can see those "hologram" like words.

OK, so how it sounds?? I have a pair of real red dawn cables as comparison. I tried brooklyn duo's Canon in D. The details are simply incredible. The strike of each key on the paino is so distinct and the decay of the sound is very obvious. It adds alot more life to the piano. Cello wise, again its the details. Very clear.

However, there are some downsides. Because the cables are very revealing, they can sound somewhat analytical and not easy to listen to. Take the cello, the bow sliding over the steel wires on the cello, its no longer that smooth and nice. There is also that "ssskkk" sound every time it the bow changes direction. Its nice in the beginning (more details) but might get a little irritating over time. The cables also sounded a little thin (the real ones had this problem in review).

I will just let them run-in over time and see what happens.
