Quite easy. Pull cables, trunking on wall, if u can't do it. Get contractors to do it.

all DVRs should come with their own CMS (Client Management Software), some are cloud-based which uses cloud solution APP to view your DVR.

Diff DVR diff method of viewing.

I have recently setup 1 DIY DVR at my relative's place, if you are the type that can do trunking, etc and do not mind seeing exposed trunking. You can just buy a DVR DIY Kit at funan challenger. Took me 3/4 day for me to lay trunking and mount the cameras, but took me only about 5 minutes to see the image online after I turn on the DVR.

DVR recording at full 960H for 4CH. I bought the outdoor bullet (700TVL 1/3 Sony CCD) camera model. The entire kit cost me $599 less HDD. Comes with cables and power supply

Buy any brand as long as they use sony lens is good right?

I bought mine from Sim Lim Tower. Won't get chopped there but please walk around for a better deal

Basically jap lenses but actually now china lenses aren't not bad.

Theres playback function also on CMS. These r fundamental stuffs. The mobile app allows me to playback also.

My relative uses both web login to view their cameras. Which i saw have configuration n you can reboot the box from remote

CCTV can be wireless so laying cable is not necessary. But I would like to know the pros & cons of having it.

this is for mobile login. If you directly connect to the IP it's got all the control you need.
