Hi guys!

I'm posting this thread regarding the change of heatsink + fan.

Do i need to look at the whole rig to decide which HSF to go for? or I just need to know what processor/motherboard.

Currently looking at these HSF, cheap, small, quiet, Fits my red black them, would avoid tower HSF if possible. Got LED even better :s12: .Easy to get through LAZADA. If can get at SLS also can.

Deepcool HTPC-200 Low Profile CPU Cooler <- Is this fine? :s11:

My rig.

MSI H97 Gaming 3 + i5 4460
Avenix core 2x4gb ram
Crucial MX 100 256GB
WD blue 1tb
MSI GTX970 4GB armor edition
Super flower HX600w 80+Gold Semi modula PSU
NZXT h440

Thanks you in advance! You da best. :s13:

When considering a HSF, you consider these things:
-Socket compatibility
-CPU TDP support
-Casing clearances for HSF
-HSF performance

The Deepcool HTPC-200 is short enough that case clearances are no issue and since you don't do OC, the HTPC-200 is good enough to cool your CPU. Compatiable with Socket 1150 mobos.

However, it would be more prudent to spend a bit more on the Deepcool Gamerstorm Gabriel for $59 as it uses easier to find/replace 120mm fans instead of the 80mm fans on the HTPC-200 CPU cooler. Fans do eventually fail, you know.

Since you like red LEDs so much, can always get a CM Sickleflow or Deepcool Xfan 120mm red LED fans and strap one onto the Deepcool Gabriel.
