Hi, wondering if anyone has a nice build for my diy pc.

Price preferably 1k or below(pcthemes) including a set of speakers and monitor. Monitor if can I prefer a smaller one but high resolution . I already have Windows 8 disk so don't need liao.

Will use pc for editing YouTube videos(below 10mins) and playing games like Diablo3 and league of legends.

Not sure if it's more expensive but I would prefer a smaller case like mini itx or something like that but wouldn't mind a tower .

CPU+ Mobo: ASROCK H81M-HDS + i3 4160 (235)
RAM: CRUCIAL PC 12800/1600MHZ DDR3 CL11 VALUE RAM (8GB) (99)
GPU: POWER COLOR R7 260X 1GB OC (169)
SSD: PLEXTOR M6S 128GB (99)
HDD: TOSHIBA 1TB 7200RPM (69)
DVD-RW: LG 24X DVD-RW SATA OEM (25)
PSU: FSP 550W HEXA PLUS (68)
Case: CM N200 (55)
Monitor: AOC e2260SWDN (179)
Speakers: CREATIVE SBS 350 2.1 SPK (39)

Total cost: $1037

Buy at PC Themes, #04-15, and ask for discounts. DIY yourself. If you can't into DIY, get PC Themes to assemble for you for a fee.

Notes:

1) Due to severe lack of budget, this rig:
-Comes with an i3 CPU
-Uses a relatively cheap monitor
-Comes with relatively cheap speakers
-Uses a M-ATX casing.

2) This rig is capable of playing Diablo III and LoL at max settings in 1080p.

3) This rig comes with an SSD to allow you to open and save your Youtube videos faster ant thus speeding up video editing work. Not so sure how much help is the R7 260X will be when using GPU acceleration to help speed up editing in both Vegas Pro and Lightworks.

If I forgo the speakers and ssd can I use that money for some other parts to be better(like better casing or cpu)as I would like to upgrade the PC to a mid-high end PC(mostly for gaming)by topping up $800 along the way till end March.

Also, I don't think I'll be doing much video editing this year (will still be recording my gameplay)just mostly gaming so would there be a difference in the parts?

rather you just save the money till march then you have $1.8k budget which will allow you to get better parts 1 shot instead of upgrading and upgrading

Well I can do that but I wanna see some budget builds first maybe I can consider them if not I'll ask again when I have the 1.8k in full.

imo, you wont get a bang for the buck if you have a budget of $1k and subsequently upgrade than generously have a budget of $1.8k which will benefit yourself more
