Do the cheap bladeless fans sold in SG work well?

I was thinking of getting a bladeless fan to cool a room because they seem like they would be easier to keep clean, but the cheapest brands still seem quite expensive and i dont know if they work well.

E.G. NNIO bladeless fan is $148 : https://www.nnio.asia/products/bldc-bladeless-fan-with-remote-n6200dcblfr

Compared to a regular stand fan which is about $40-50 for brands like Cornell, Powerpac, etc.

bladeless just look nice, the wind cui.

the only trade off , is no need to clean the blade, just clean the prefilter. :cautious:

You can take out the fan at the base if you got the time. Cleaning the fan though is a different matter.

You need to take apart the whole thing to clean
ohh ..
actually me felt that the air circulation isn't that fantastic imo
was at a relative house before & they have one

maybe if put at the bedside table, should be fine but not in an oscillating mode :o

I have the basic Dyson bladeless fan as it was a free gift for aircon installation.

It’s frankly rubbish. You need to ramp the airspeed to near max just to get a decent airflow, and it’s very noisy because it forces air out through thin vents.

Just get one of those new tornado fans, it’s better.
