Do you find out mrt map abit not so well planned?

Some lines duplicate locations. Look at cross island line and circle line 9 o clock to 12 o clock. Enough for middle liao la. What is really missing is a north shore line connecting all the northern neighbourhoods. Sembawang yishun punggol pasir ris etc. Pasir ris and punggol so near but not connected by train lol.

Mrt is not everything la... ie if from beauty world go bukit batok... u see distance very close but no mrt direct connection... so take bus faster, unless u hv lots of time take take mrt round n round will still reach... lol

to inflate the land value lorr .... can say "within 10 minutes walk to mrt"


example spend 1 billion to build the track and station .... in future nearby land parcels all upwards , when sell a a few empty land parcel to build condo , that 1 billion cost recover back multi fold via higher valuation for land

the duplication is to relieve the passenger load on NSL (with DTL, TEL) and EWL (with DTL, TEL), CCL for people to siam overcrowding in MRT in town area if they wanna switch EWL -> or NSL -> EWL...Jurong Line is meant primarily for future Tengah residents

No amount of extra lines can relieve passenger load during peak la. You can build 10 lanes expressway and it will still be jam during peak

Can take direct bus to travel between these places. Much faster than MRT.

They relieve by having offices spread out in punggol, one north, changi liao. If all go cbd then will be pack

Should poll see how many people can get around just by taking MRT.

because... alot companies at CBD area/central as well as atas orchard

if they want, they can encourage to reduce companies to operate at central by move to ulu area

numerous ppl at LTA spent years doing feasibility studies and simulations and planning and preparing for future transformation and demand, and also working with SLA to obtain the land for building and digging while minimizing disruptions as the disruptions can last for years

TS one look and "it's not well-planned"

should hire TS at LTA, save alot of money.....one person can take over >1000 ppl job :s13:

the dtl u see turn one big round (from bugis to jalan besar, vice versa) u know something wrong with the planning already..

blue line loop is a failure, shows mrt is wasting resource

They did say next time 8 in 10 household will have a 10 mins walk to MRT?
