Does Redmi Note 9 Pro works with Google Pay?

Thinking of getting a Redmi Note 9 Pro and wanted to use Google Pay with it. Anyone can help to confirm if Google Pay works okay with this phone?

A friend shared that he has problem with Google Pay with his Huawei but okay with his Pixel.

xiaomi phones should work well with gpay. ur fren's huawei got issue cos new huawei phones no google services preinstalled.

I'm using rmn9 with Google pay for my grocery shopping and other purchases. No problem except sometimes I can't smoothly connect to the merchants terminals due to placement between hp and the terminals.

rmn9 does have nfc version but its very hard to determine as there is 1 specific model and i believe that most buying u buying are non nfc....but b4 buying, can check if the model they sell is it such model with nfc.

I have been using Google Pay on my Redmi Note 9 Pro to pay for retail and tap on public transport for a few months. Zero problems

You can also consider Poco X3 NFC. The specs are slightly better than Redmi Note 9 Pro and the design is largely similar to the Redmi Note 9 Pro
