My ducky feather scroll wheel keeps scrolling up and down randomly when im scrolling. First time trying to fix my mouse so I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing.

I tried to open up the mouse to remove the scroll wheel and clean whatever I could but I have no idea how to remove the scroll wheel from the encoder. Do I need to unscrew the entire PCB out to remove the scroll wheel? I'm not sure how to do this either because 2 of the screws that keep the PCB in place are being blocked by the switch mouse switches.

Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Looking at your picture, it seem a trained technician and special tool is needed.
Just get a new mouse as mouse are not expensive.

This isn't really about the cost, more about the learning. Do you know of any good mouse repair shops? Maybe i can go there and learn from them

Asking masters to teach u the trade and break their rice bowl haha.

Anyway i doubt there are any mouse repair shops due to low demand, people rather buy a new mouse or if they want to repair or mod, there is always youtube.

yea... i tried youtube but this mouse brand isn't really popular so not many people will have a teardown video for it. was hoping maybe i buy some stuff from the shop then they also teach me how to repair since i need to replace the mouse skates after taking them off to disassemble the mouse anyway haha

Looks like just lift it up slightly on the right of the scroll wheel and slide/pull the axle out of the rotary encoder, but nothing much you can do about fixing the issue(it'll come back eventually).

You can try spraying electronic contact cleaner into the encoder and spin the scroll wheel and 'massage' the contacts within the encoder.. if you know the part number of the encoder you can probably look for something similar on taobao or aliexpress and get it replaced
