Ya, age affects BTIR results but it also affects every other plans. If someone starts BTIR at 40-65, the 25 years should be good enough to have a nice retirement nest.

Hi all,

I would like to seek advise on this. Is there any term policy that covers early critical illness? What are the best policies out there for this?

Thanks.

Oops sorry .
So let me change question - isn't good hospitalization sufficient cover the treatment or surgery cost in case one is diagnosed with critical illness ?

Question - will you be working during your treatment or recovery? And not all drugs can use to be paid by integrated shield plan - only Moh approved drugs.

But starting BTIR at a higher age also gives less time for the compounding effect to do its magic. Better to go for BTIR right from the start, at a younger age.

Correct. Start early, one can expect more returns unless somehow it is screwed up along the way...

I guess it depends on how much one is willing to commit...

Age 25, aiming 500k by 65
Age 40, aiming 500k by 65

Just a question, what did you do with the premium saved from not choosing no.3 over no.1?

i'm into BTIR... i guess the monthly premiums saved can be dumped into my DCA for stocks.

But then again, if i switch to limited pay WL with early CI/CI, i would only need to commit the higher premiums for 20 years. The total amount of premiums paid would definitely be lower than committing to the term early CI/CI plan till 65 years old.
