i also got 2 spare rooms but after 1 incident with a terrible tenant for a year..
i decided not to rent out anymore..

the damage and experiences are not that pleasant..

My issue with housemate previously was due to either cleanliness or just them using up all the resources for themselves (like hot water), girls will be the better ones to have house mates but again also subjective haha, also if its single guy owner might spell trouble that cost more than just money

if you have Reverse Vending Machine and Anywheel near your place, you can recycle 10 cans for reward to cycle for 30 minutes. 1 mrt station is about 1 dollar for moi. if moi cycle 1 station, moi save close to a dollar.

if you are travelling more than a mrt station, can cycle 30 minutes to reach the furthest station to save more.

I recently saw a recycle machine that gives 20 cent NTUC cashback for don't know how many bottles n cans. It states must have barcode then consider. Never try before so don't really know how it works

But 20 cent isn't exactly a "side income" la.

thats why i prefer the bicycle reward. you can get 50 cents worth for 10 cans compared to 20 cents ntuc cashback in return for recycling 20 cans.
