Which of these supplement plans are good, I am thinking of taking Aviva.

I look at the plan and the premiums seems expensive for the level of coverage. So I just chose the cheapest plan (I think it was NTUC's most basic plan) since I don't think I would be able to make a claim anyway....

I can say that none of my grandparents would have qualified to claim eldershield. Not being able to walk and needing wheelchair is not enough to claim....

For this plan. I think should compare the definition if disability, can be claimed under what condition. that is more important than premium.
there are 3 company can sell these product GE, aviva, Ntuc (use CPF)

The definition is quite standard since they are all eldershield upgrade, premium is most important

let us do some case study to ompare GE and Aviva ,then will know better what I mean
Case
upon claim under 2 ADL monthly benefit S$1200
GE: pay S$1200 life time per month, if include basic eldshield 1st 6 year will pay S$1600
Aviva: pay S$1200 for 6 years include basic Eldshield,from 7th year pay S$1200 for life time

if death happen within 6 years, GE pay 1200x3, aviva pay 800x3

Mean payout was only $7,200 per claimant. It seems little since Eldershield 300 pays out $300 a month for as much as 60 months, Eldershield 400 pays out $400 a month for as much as 72 months. But what was the median?
