i recently accepted a role for embedded software development at a company that produces industrial machinery. I will be working using the .NET framework (not sure what language i will be using) and delving into the source code to do low level programming. Maybe some microprocessor/PLC programming as well. Can anyone who is working in the field give a few ideas where to start to read up on the necessary topics to help me adapt quickly? So far i've read that it would be good to learn about RT operating systems.
