EMI Shields for cables

I was looking for information on EMI shield for cables and i come across this > https://fhi.nl/app/uploads/sites/42/2015/07/Shielding-and-ferrites-FHI-13102015.pdf , i also orderded 20 pcs of ferrite magnetic cores from aliexpress >https://www.aliexpress.com/item/328...a4!65014144362!sea&curPageLogUid=gc0RbuELvrhB which cost couple of dollars to install on my computer cables.
Kindly share your opinions on this.

Update: Got my Magnetic Ferrite Core Cord RFI EMI Noise Suppressor cable clip. Installed it on all necessary
cables. Noticeable improvement. Done a test on my canon G2010 printer. Healthier and nicer photocopying result.
This things are not a waste of money as some might think.

???? Printing and cable doesn't relate to each other.
If you want finer print details Canon with individual ink tanks will print finer than
G series.

First time I heard change USB cable = better printing quality while in fact most printers have gone wireless.
Make sure you did install the printer driver from Canon cuz I know some don't install the driver.
Do print head alignment etc. to ensure printing is optimal.

@86technie, you're mistaken, i never mention about better or finer printing quality by applying magnetic ferrite core
on all necessary cables. Just healthier and nicer looking and even when using/playing my computer.
And i'm not a supporter of anything wireless. It's bad for our health.

Nope, i have wifi at home but i'm not the user and i'm far away from it and it's transmit power is set to the lowest.
Even my mobile phone are store away from myself and not been turn on full time.

try setting a timeer will auto shut when not in use.. save electric too

but cant avoid these thigns naowadays.. neighbour will have wifi at full blast..

I have find a way to avoid EMF from wifi/radio/tv/mobile. Read my post regarding Quwave Defender.
This devices is a great help to me but not everyone believe it. Just like traditional health protection charm, the owner
need to be healthy enough to benefit them.

Just got my affordable EMF meter. Using it to check around for existing electronic magnetic field and electric field.
Needless to mention, monitor and main CPU has strong electric field within 3 feets. PSU has both electric magnetic field
and electric field at close distance. To my surprise the tester did not detect any electric magnetic field in the environment,
not near a mobile phone, tv antenna or near a wifi router. Therefore some peoples do not believe it. But i know the reason is because it's a dream world but not real world everyone are living in. Kindly share your opinions.

My further use of this EMF meter,
I am able to detect electric field (around 500v/m) from the main CPU, monitor and all cables.
Electric magnetic field (2MG) and electric field ( around 500v/m) were detected from speakers and PSU.
Out of curiosity, i did a quick check on water heater for bathing. It detect a fair amount of
electric magnetic field and electric field from it. I stop using it and i neverdrink water from electric boiler. I actually felt better.


It does detect radio/tv/wifi/mobile phone emissions on items and environment not more than 3500mhz as electric field. But sometime this emissions seem totally not detectable at all, like it has been completely blocked off. It's fishy

Finally, including my computer, i also benefit from placing the ferrite magnetic on incoming electrical meter, fridge, washing machine, optical modem and wifi router. I Intend to order more after chinese new year.

I see you are spending a lot of time near electronic devices to make posts on hwz... by doing that you are exposing yourself to harm emissions that is very dangerous to your health..

Thank you for your concern mate, i'm fine with emi/emf shield and actually don't spent a lot of time online sharing and discuss useful knowledges for our play toys.

Latest update. I received 2 more packets of ferrite magnetic core. A total of 60 pieces for 3 packets of ferrite magnetic core i purchased. This time i upload some pictures showing my computer setup and also measurement of electric field near electric cable. Beside applying ferrite magnetic core on all cables link to the computer, some were inside the computer on sata cables. Now i get the result of cleaner, effortless and healthier computing. Oh for those who are curious, i took a picture of my fuseless power cord and wall adapter.
