Some useful hints about typical salary ranges:

Electrical Eng and Mech Eng in local engineering consultancy

FCH in Electrical Eng/Mech Eng was 3.3k with 0.5months bonus.

Aerospace engineering grad: $3K without LAE, but after LAE (which takes 2 yrs and requires a 5 year bond), suppose to increase significantly but didn't say how much.

A few highlighted mech.eng average pay is $3.2K to $3.6K.

ME 4-1 earns about 5k and reaches $8K if can last 6 years.

EEE grad:

low 3k for fresh grad for big MNCs and stat boards, but if can obtain Professional Engineer cert and EMA License Engineer, grade 9 within 5 to 10 years, supposed to hit 5 digit range.

Reading through the comments, I get the sense a lot of engineering grads moving into IT and software engineering.
