I'm under medical review now. If I get PES C or E, when is the earliest that I can enlist?

Sent from null using GAGT

refer to this schedule for the intakes over the next 3 months:
https://www.cmpb.gov.sg/cmpb/before-ns/enlistment-dates/

hope that some other people are able to give a constructive answer, rather than saying anything from a range which can also be said by any others. if the reply was intended to be all-rounded, that person has forgotten to mention that there are chances for delay depending on any other reasons.

nevertheless, do constantly check with CMPB if there happens to be any earliest slot available as there are enlistees who happens to defer their enlistment date even at the very last minute.

Beauty of the English language ain't it, TS is asking when's the earliest he "can" enlist, not he "will" enlist.

It can be said by any other so I'm saying it lor.

He CAN enlist as soon as there's an intake.
He WILL enlist when he gets his enlistment notice.

Hahaha, this sentence look familiar. The pen style look like from someone with name started with r & end with a 8. :s8:

hope that some other people are able to give a constructive answer, rather than saying anything from a range which can also be said by any others.

He WILL enlist when he gets his enlistment notice.

"can" also be subjected to delay isn't it

Thanks guys hahaha. Don't quarrel la.

If I get my PES status, I won't be automatically in the first intake batch right? Only if someone defer then maybe got chance enlist in the first batch is it?

that is why u need to constantly call CMPB for updates. Otherwise, they may slot in other people who does the calling instead when a slot is available.

N usually, every enlistee batch does not have a 100% strength intake.

Hahaha... I wonder if the day when one of you win the debate is the day SAF Performance Bonus pay out? And SAF will award Performance Bonus to the 'winner' & 'runner up'? Keep up the good work.

Hi guys, sorry to hijack this thread.

Last Feb I went for a medical review to up my PES (currently B2L3) and recently I just got a letter to enlist on October for SPF. I went to check my PES status and it remains the same.
If let's say they review my PES and approve that I can up PES.
1) Will it affect my enlistment date?
2) Will they change my vocation to let's say army?

PS: I passed my Napfa

TIA!

From my observation, SAF medical board may not be fast enough to up pes you by Oct. So you will most likely still end up in SPF regardless if you have up pes or not since you are fit for POBC (Pes A, B1, B2, BP).

You will attend POBC for SC unless you do not have enough qualification like GCE N - English which you will end up POBC for VC or you have body tattoo which you end up in SCDF.

The only way that you may end up in SAF is to apply for deferment for reason like full time studies in public school so that you will miss your current enlistment in SPF & CMPB will re-arrange your next enlistment that may end up in other uniform group like SAF.

It's weird that they sent you enlistment notice while you are pending PES review. There may be a possibility that your PES upgrade did not happen.

If there's a change of PES (not just deployment code) then enlistment date may alter depending on when the intake of that PES happens.

There may be a possibility of you changing service
