I'll be travelling to Toronto in 2 weeks time. Will be there for 7 days hence would like to seek assistance on where are the interesting places that must visit definitely.

Thanks! :)

Niagara falls is about a 2hr bus ride away iirc. Can try Paramount Canada's Wonderland. There's the CN tower and skydome where you can catch an nba game or ice hockey match. If time permits, sign up for a weekend tour to Montreal from one of those travel agencies in Chinatown. And try Poutine!

Hi all,

Just additional enquires, it there any recommended/must get souvenirs from toronto, canada?
I do read that real maple syrup is a recommended/nice gift. Anything else?

BTW, would it be cheap to get branded stuff in toronto too? Cheaper than in Singapore?
First time traveling to toronto. Hmmm...

Branded stuff not exactly cheaper than Singapore but depends on the brand and what labels you define as branded. If you are travelling to Niagara Falls, there is a huge factory outlet area there.

Oh! I understand from others that branded labels are just slightly cheaper too. Candians would travel to US to get cheaper labels there.

Hmmm... I don't really drink wine. But is there any particular ice wine to recommend? I think I will be lost when I step into the wine store. :s22: Haha...

If you happen to drop by Niagara on the lake, visit Inniskillin, one of the most well known ice wine brands. They also sell it at LCBO and supermarts but if you go to the winery, you can try out a shot @ 3 CAD (old price).
