Hi all,

My build is in my signature.

I just assembled today and started it up.

Screen is blank & error code 99 showed up on MOBO.

Cpu cooler fans are spinning but case fans are not spinning.

Any experts can help diagnose what went wrong?

Qcode 99 is "Super IO Initialization" and IO meaning anything connected to the board by any interface is not initializing.
If you have just built the system, then it is saying a device is not connected properly or there is a lack of power to a device causing the IO error.

You have to check all cables and components are seated flush and level and aligned in parallel with PCI-e slots and your DIMMs are seated correctly.

use RAM slots A2 and B2, and also try plugging your keyboard and mouse into another USB slot(s).

Hi all. I solved the problem. Forgot to plug in 1 more pci-e cable.. lolz.

But now i got another concern.

I am using cryorig a4p ultimate aio. Is it normal to get ambient temps of 34 deg c when cpu not under load?

I have seen other benchmarks with ambient temp at 22 deg c.

My room ambient temp is abt 27 deg c

Very normal. Welcome to Singapore weather. Where we are scorching at 35degC.

Despite your room ambient is 27DegC, your cpu have to be higher than ambient, else you may have condensation which isnt good.

34degC is normal when its on idle, but once you start gaming or start using for a couple of minutes, your cpu temps will idle at a slightly higher temperature.

Benchmarks are all usually lower in other countries where their ambient are much lower than or climate, such as US.

Thanks bro for clearing my doubts. Gonna try overclocking now and see what temp results i get.

Wow. I managed to overclock to 4.6ghz & did some tests with aida64.

Core temps never go past 58 deg c. Not bad.

& ambient temps at normal load stabilised at ard 28 to 30 deg c. Not bad.
