Extended Warranty Experience

Is extended warranty worth the cost? is there anyone here can share their experience here? Recently my sister ''showed off'' to me how she didnt manage to pay a single cent for her new laptop purchase in Harvey Norman. Apparently she had more than 2 break down and Harvey actually offered her a replacement set during 3rd break down on the 4th year. Did anyone else here had the same experience?

Normally will last over the extended warranty then break down if you take good care of your laptop

as you cannot access the spare parts easily if anything fail.

Similar in your scenario, my previous laptop also brought from Harvey Norman, with 3 year additional warranty. Not as lucky as your sister. Didn’t manage to get it replaced but they did honour the 2 time repair since right after that didn’t had any issues. Tbh it’s worth the premium because I don’t have to spend another thousand dollar to buy a replacement after warranty ends. Had 3 laptop so far and all of them break down right on the 4th year.
