Extra long tip for usb type c

Hi all, just checking if anyone know like how to know if there is any long type c tip that is not of the standard one? as i have a device that reuqires somewhat extra long type c tip for it, if i use the standard one the system deos not detect the device at all and also its quite loose when i use my standard one.

And the device im connected is a usb dock with type C interface and my cable is usb type c to usb a.

i need some help like is there any of such title to find this kind of tip in the market?

Could it be your system port's loose or defective, hence it cannot accept the proper connector?

USB C is universal port design so there is no long tip or short tip. It's all standardized.

They're fixed lengths. You'll have better luck getting an electronic contact cleaner and spray on/in the contacts then massage by insert/removing the connector repeatedly.

Of course, before spraying, please power down the said device.

I think it's rubber molding that's either too thick or long thus preventing the male connector from making full contact. Just look for another compatible cable with a smaller profile. This kind of issues sometime also affects those using phone case that has smaller port cut outs.

well its actually is this orico transparent case and its seems to block or so call kinda shorten the cable tip to contact it.

one is without the plastic frame and one with plastic frame.
and only the 1 without frame is able to read the data.

I have a device (a keyboard) that requires a longer usb-c. It's quite annoying but luckily the included cable still works. I really wish devices with this kind of defect could not pass various certifications.
