Fifteen-year-old Noppasorn “Ploy” Prakrongpan, known on TikTok as Nnoppaploy, succumbed to her injuries yesterday from a car crash that occurred at the Wilai Motor Intersection on Prempreeda Road in Sakhon Nakhon province.
The teen was known for lip-syncing to popular Thai songs on TikTok and enjoyed a large following of more than 400,000 people.
On Saturday night, the authorities had reported that a car had crashed into another at the intersection, injuring three girls and leaving one in critical condition. It turned out the critically injured passenger was Ploy.
After her death was revealed to the public yesterday, many on TikTok wrote messages mourning the teen girl’s passing in comments to her videos.
“I was about to type that this is very cute. Opened the comments, and now I’ve stopped smiling. May the world be kind to her,” Thanwa006 commented on her last video, dated three days ago.
“Rest in peace,” Anarsia12 wrote. “Thank you for making so many people happy.”
