it seems Epps_Sg bro's strategy by using passive investing (using 4 assets; stocks, bonds, gold and cash) could be a good portfolio...

'Good' is subjective.

It may be good for someone, but it may not be good enough for someone else.

indeed... especially those who did not invest in gold... however, I feel that there is going to be a global crisis and I seriously do not know what to do...

There will always be another global crisis lurking. It is inevitable.

If u are worried, u can invest a portion of your capital. Save some for a crash.

Or u can try out Bitcoin. It is technically not affected by recession. Hehehe.....:p

did u invest in gold too? I am planning to save a portion to invest in gold.

I see. I need to ask some noob questions. where u bought and how much is one gold coin? I am now googling but they keep showing me some gold saving account....

I bought from UOB and Singapore Mint. :)
