Hi Guys,

I bought a file sharing script and would appreciate if I could get some feedback. So the site is similar to yousendit, megaupload, where you can upload a file, then get a download link.

I'm was hoping to get some testers to give me some feedback. Or features that I can improve on as well. Hence please keep the comments coming in.

Right now, its up to a max of 50MB file size. I'll expand this further once the tests are all done.

Here's the URL Share'N'Drop

Thanks

some replies from another thread:

1) its a beta site. I'm just asking for testers, and comments. If you'd still like to host your files, feel free to do so.

2) Hence the file limit, duration, and unfinished TOS that I'm still working on.

3) I'm testing to see if there's any issues to the functions / features, before I re-design / re-skin it. Honestly I don't like the default design as well

4) I won't be interested in any of the content, because when its fully launched, I just hope to earn some money from ads (non-intrusive). But for the benefit of everyone, I'd suggest not to upload any confidential stuff.

5) Its currently on a US server being cheaper, but I'm looking to get a SG VPS at launch.

Food for Thoughts

1) Mobile responsive design
2) HTML5 FilrWriting API support for bulk directory upload + compression into archive for distribution. (Read more at The Full Explanation of Why Mega Only Works in Chrome, Snubbing Firefox, IE, Safari, Opera)
3) How do you intend to cope with high loads of requests to your service ?
4) Any premium service, Ads Free, services for users ?
5) Any assurance to reliability and durability of the uploaded contents ?
6) Referral campaigns to entice new users, and benefit existing users ?
7) D/DOS strategy, rate limiting, connections limiting strategy ?
8) Subscriber based system ? Retaining of subscribers ?
9) Review of existing shared contents of each subscriber ?
10) Subscriber portal management, eg: forget password, etc...
