I received my first mechanical KB today - an IKBC CD108.
First impressions are it is quite heavy and is hard to shift around on the desk because of rubber feet. Maybe I will cover these up to help move it around when I need to. Feel of the black switches is similar to membrane but a bit heavier. Overall I think I need to get used to it.
Got a few questions:
1 - This keyboard has N key mode and 6 key mode. What is the advantage/disadvantage of switching to 6 key mode when N key is better?
2 - My wireless mouse seems to show some lag after plugging in this KB. Not sure if it will continue but can there be some conflict?
3 - Will the KB work if I use a third party USB to PS2 adapter?
4 - I cannot get the mute, volume keys and calculator keys to work. I tried to update drivers but to no avail. Trying to reach the company for help, but no response so far. Any advice is appreciated.
